Countless people experience God’s blessings when they tithe, but often the first step is the hardest one to take. The 90 Day Tithe Challenge is based on God’s promises in His Word.
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this," says the Lord of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field," says the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 3:10-11 NKJV)
Here is a chance to try it, and step out on faith. Challenge yourself to trust the Lord and start on your very next paycheck by giving 10% of your gross income (before taxes) to your church for 90 days. Some people even decide to go ahead and commit to one whole year, just to see what God does in their life and see if the Bible is true in this area. The Bible asks us to give our first and our best back to God, and He will bless the rest. We return to the Lord 10% of what He's given us because it belongs to Him.
